Expands FiberLight’s reach in Virginia and paves the way for expansion to other East Coast markets
Morrison is pleased to announce that its portfolio company, FiberLight, L LC (“FiberLight”), a leading wholesale provider of U.S. high-capacity fiber optic networks and connectivity services, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Metro Fiber Networks (“MFN”), a dedicated fiber provider serving carriers and public institutions in Richmond and Virginia Beach.
The strategic acquisition will serve as a key milestone in FiberLight’s regional expansion plans and significantly bolster the company’s existing dense network in Virigina, one of the largest data center markets in the world. MFN's advanced, low-latency fiber network assets will further strengthen FiberLight's ability to deliver high-quality, infrastructure-grade bandwidth solutions to its customers in Virginia.

FiberLight is a wholesale provider of mission-critical high bandwidth fiber networks. Its network includes approximately 20,000 route miles of fiber networks, principally in Texas and Northern Virginia, servicing domestic and international carriers, enterprise, government and hyperscale customers.
